Schuco 1:18 Citroen SM Shooting Brake gold metallic 450021200
Schuco 1:18 Citroen SM Shooting Brake gold metallic 450021200
First shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 1970, the Citroën SM was produced from 1970 to 1975 and is now regarded as one of the absolute style icons of automotive history. With a favourable drag coefficient of 0.33 - almost unbelievable for those times - the vehicle offered proof that aerodynamically favourable vehicle design need not necessarily result in uniform design ideas. The SM was fitted with a V6 engine developed by Maserati but did not prove to be a financial success for Citroen and production was swiftly ended after the takeover by the PSA-Group. Several very interesting special models based on the Citroën SM have also been produced over the years, such as the Cabriolet Mylord from Chapron, the Presidentielle presentation vehicle and a shooting-brake version. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary Citroën SM Shooting Brake to a scale of 1:18 in the PRO R line. This line, consisting of resin as the material, stands for exceptional and highly filigree small series models. By means of this highgrade model material, it is possible to produce very rare and exotic exemplary vehicles in perfect quality and also in low and exclusive production runs.
